National Finals

Congratulations to Lynne Chalmers, Jackie Clarke and Jane Cogle on reaching the quarter finals of the National Triples.

In the first round they faced Ivy Parker, Maureen Norgate, and Lesley Cowell of Chigwell. With vociferous

support from a band of travelling supporters, the Angel ladies performed well, with Cogle marshalling her team to a 14-9 win.

In the quarter final they faced a strong Ryedale team of Margaret Roberts, Alexa Nairn, and Sue Westoby. Westoby and her ladies proved too strong and ran out 19-4 winners.
