A very successful programme of summer Competitions came to a climax on Saturday 12th September, and the winners are as follows:

The Summer Leagues and Mixed Matches were also very enjoyable, with many members having their first experience of both League and Match play, which we are confident they enjoyed.

The AGM will take place on Tuesday 27th October at 8.00 p.m. At that meeting we will be expressing our thanks to our Summer Captain, Cyril Stares, who is standing down after 8 years, as well as paying tribute to the work of Chris Bailey who has decided to retire from his office as our “Summer Treasurer”, a role he has handled in excellent fashion over many years. This means that we are looking for someone to replace Chris, and Harry Hart will be pleased to hear from anyone who would like to know what is involved. Members are encouraged to attend the AGM, as this is your opportunity to express your views about our Summer programme of bowls, and to raise any concerns or ideas you may have.
